This took me quite some time to get into, but it finally got there. It kept me guessing, and I did actually figure it out before the "big reveal," but Alice did a great job sneaking in little clues.
Fantastic audiobook! Somewhere between 4-5⭐️ for me. I feel like you should go into this book blind and just enjoy the ride! Hard to review without spoiling, but great pace and interesting twists.

Maybe might have possibly snuck ahead on the Libro.fm Audiobook Club for August and maybe might have finished this a little early and MAYBE MIGHT BE EXTREMELY SHOOK BY THAT ENDING?!?! Full review to come towards the end of the month when the book club wraps up!

Vrij teleurstellend wel. Eerste helft gebeurde er vrij weinig, tweede helft was beter, maar de ongeloofwaardigheid van alle twists deden het echt de das om. Had er echt meer van verwacht.
Audiobook. 3.75 ⭐️ This book kept me guessing the whole time. I had my suspicions along the way of who the killer could be (I won’t say if I was right or wrong) and the murders were crazy! If you like thrillers then this is a pretty good one. The ending/reveal is a little unbelievable but the rest of the book keeps you intrigued.
WOW. Alice Feeney is 2/2 for me! I so enjoyed Sometimes I Lie and was eager to read more from her. This did not disappoint! I actually listened to the audible version which made it that much more intriguing in my opinion because of the “unknown voice” (super creepy!)
It’s a gripping novel that takes you on a ride full of questions and “WTF”moments. Just when you think you’ve got it figured out, she throws something completely uncalled for in.
I really enjoyed how Feeney reveals little tidbits throughout the book about the each character’s dodgy past. She builds these characters so well that you can’t decide if you can trust them or not.
The ending was clean, no loose ends which is extremely important to me so 10/10 for that alone.
If you like twists & turns and nail-biting suspense, definitely add this to your list.

This book is one that sucked me in right away. Small hints were dropped early on that made me want to see if my guesses were right, but the twist I could have never predicted. I echo what other reviewers have said about going in blind and let yourself be surprised.
