4.5/5! This is my favorite Taylor Jenkins Reid book thus far. I really liked how the book explored the lives of these people and it was really easy for me to read. I love Camilla. Did NOT expect that author's note near the end. I am so glad I read this book because it's really, really good. There wasn't a part where I was bored. I was invested in the story. It wasn't a perfect 5 for me because although I really enjoyed it, I personally don't feel SUPER attached to the story but it definitely is one of those books that is worth the read and a story that sticks with you.

This is so different from what I usually read but I can easily say that it’s now one of my top 5 favorite books in the last 5 years. it pulled me in right away.
I listened to the audiobook which had different voice actors for all the different POVs and I’m so glad I read it this way first (because I WILL be reading it again, no doubt about it). It felt like a rock documentary you’d watch on TV, but so so much better because the writing is SO wonderful. It painted such vivid characters and I found myself caring about each one of them so much. I hurt when they hurt, I was excited when they were excited. It really transported me into their lives and honestly...isn’t that what books are supposed to do?
I definitely recommend giving the audiobook a listen but I will definitely be ordering a hard copy of this as well.

This book is AMAZING! Seriously, one of the best books I have read in a long time! It truly is a unique and well written book. I was so connected to the characters and story that I didn't want it to end. Taylor Jenkins Reid did it again! Definitely recommend!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

If I could unread this, I would.
I'm trying to be mindful of the fact that I'm writing this review in the heat of having just finished it, but truly I was carrying it in my hands as I left the coffee shop I'd read it in, and I had the sudden, vivid thought, "just drop it in the garbage."
It's not as bad as all that. I did enjoy the first three quarters, but good God, the ending spoiled it for me. I absolutely detest the ending they gave Daisy. I detest it. They made her so beholden to her feelings for Billy who was, in my opinion, scum. And Billy has this wonderful, fulfilling story... I can't make sense of the author's intention. To create a character as bold as Daisy only to cripple her story so thoroughly.
All this to say: skip this one.

I really enjoyed this one and I may or may not have binge read it while also binge watching the TV show (because I started the show when I wasn't totally done with the book so I needed to get ahead of where the show was)
