I enjoyed reading about Siddhartha's spiritual journey to Enlightenment: his rejection of teachings, subjection to vices (although perhaps not murder like Dorian Gray?), and trust of actions over words. To me, his greatest teacher was the courtesan Kamala, who makes him wonder whether he can love.
