i thought it was a good sequel, not as exhilarating as the first of the series but it did live up to expectations and i feel the story got the ending it deserved

I really loved how everything was wrapped up from the first book and in this book. I’m giving it 4 stars just because I haven’t read the first book in a few years so I was a little lost at some parts, but that’s on me, not the actual story itself. All in all, it’s a great duology!
Read this as soon as I could after the first one. Just had to know more and what would happen. Though it was easier to take my time reading this one, I still enjoyed it and plan on reading more of Jewell’s books. The ending was perfect.

Cops who can immediately tell when everyone is lying are a pet peeve of mine, but I appreciated how many loose ends Lisa Jewell managed to tie up.
