Thank you, Maal, for inviting me to read this book together, but unfortunately, I had to dnf this book.
I feel disappointed because this is the first halal romance I read, and it's not that good. I know it's a debut novel, but I couldn't continue because of the bad writing.
I felt like this book was too long. There was a lot of repetition of events and unnecessary explanations in this book.
I also couldn't understand how Anas could like Hayat when in their first meeting Anas didn't even glance at Hayat. He just left and didn't thank Hayat for accompanying his daughter. But later on, he said he had an interest in Hayat and wanted to get to know her through her father.
In addition, I didn't like Anas' attitude when his father apologized to him. Although I know Anas and his parents don't have a good relationship because of his previous divorce.
As for Hayat... I can't think of anything about her.
This book is so cringe, and I can't help anymore.
