I didn’t want to stop reading. A few bits I didn’t understand and weren’t explained but over all a very good book

Not a bad story, but it did drag in some spots and I would have liked a little more with the bear and coyote parts so really 3.5 stars.

This was a thoroughly enjoyble book. I honestly had trouble putting it down. The setting was enchanting with enough darkness to make it compelling, the characters were enjoyable though I think they could have been drawn out a bit better, the plot(s) were unique and took unexpected turns . It is my sincere hope they the author, David Barbur, brings back Tye Caine again and again. I want to know if he ever went back to Hattie about his problems - you have to answer that and Kaytie, despite what the others said, I felt the romantic tension, I thought they had "chemistry." She belongs in these stories and close (hint hint) to Tye.
Mr. Barbur you are onto something here, don't let it slip away.
