Narration was decent, but I don’t know if I’ll listen to the next rather than read. Enjoyed the continuation of this story and these characters! Fun for my beach to beacon race!

I feel like this is probably a 4.5 rounded up just because I like the series a lot. And Angela Dawe's narration.

I think I preferred the first book but this one was super fun, too. The reveal that Finlay's mother had inadvertently put out a hit on Steven when she complained about him in the mob-run women's group was fantastic.

I still love all the characters, but wish the kids had been in it more.

I do love both Nick and Julian but Nick's inability to listen to the phrase "I'm seeing someone" is pissing me off. I get that Finlay and Julian aren't serious but still, take no for an answer Hot Cop lol

But I love the series and can't wait to continue in it.
