The disability rep of Tiny Tim is kinda a no for me tbh... but I do like the themes of redemtion! The Mickey Mouse version is solid

Warning: this audiobook suffers from horrible production. The narration is way too soft and the dialog is ear splittingly shrill. The downloadable version from eLibrary, narrated by Frank Muller is miles better.

[The star rating is for the book. The performance gets one star.]

A Christmas Carol is a story that I know well because it is heavily featured in our media. I knew the story but had never read the story. I have tried to read Dickens before and the writing was too difficult for me. This book I was able to finish and while the writing was difficult at times the majority of the story I was engaged in. However, I was not a huge fan of it. For me it was just okay but if you think how long ago it was written it is a remarkable book. For that it earns three stars from me.

Definitely one of my favourite stories, and I think I will make it my December tradition. Because it is perfect to reflect on the year and what can be… Brilliant.
