The main characters of this book are psychopaths. Each with their own twisted past, let creeping into their present bringing chaos to their lives.

The book is just okay for me, with the vibes of The Last Mrs Parrish. Ending a bit far fetched.

Before I fell in love with the Harry Potter series, Jane Eyre was my favorite novel. (Obviously, I have a penchant for novels about British orphans who grow up with relatives who despise them and who find their first friends at school.) I wanted to name a child either Eyre or Bronte. I have a Jane Eyre pencil holder; I have a print in both my house and my class... and I have my eye on another print.

Needless to say, I was excited when I heard about this novel. It took me a few chapters to get into it. The Jane in this novel is NOT the Jane Eyre I know and love. Once I let go of my resentment that someone had tampered with my beloved Jane Eyre, I had a great time reading this book.
