I thought this was very good. I was kept guessing for some time into the story. Was it him, was it her. Both Eddie and Bea were pretty messed up. Also, Jane as a character was not the best person to grace this earth, but somehow she scored big time.

I really wanted to like this book however, I just found it a bit..meh. It was good it just wasn't really for me and I think that anyone who knows the story of Jane Eyre could easily guess the plot twists.
Honestly, I can't quite put my finger on why this book didn't grab me as much as I hoped it would. I feel like it had something to do with the fact that the first half was kinda slow and by the time things picked up in the second half (I read the entire second half in one sitting) I was already not super invested. However, I did like it and it was good. I would definitely recommend reading it if it is something you're interested in.

Had You meets Gone Girl vibes for me. I should have guessed the twist at the end probably but I surprisingly didn’t! The main reason I wanted to read this book is because I’m from a town about 1 1/2 hours from Bham and thought it would be cool to read a book based there. I feel like it got really slow there in the middle of the book but picked up good at the end. Would have liked for it to have been a little shorter. Overall, enjoyed the story!

Formulaic and not entirely unpredictable
A pretty good read, but I don’t think I’ve ever read a book where there was not a single character I liked, until now. This is a somewhat predictable, but engaging, story (not such thriller in my opinion) full of unlikable characters.
