Brit chick lit in the style of Bridget Jones. Finished in two days, consider me v. amused.
A perfect light airplane read. I must admit that as the series went on (and on, and on) it's diminishing returns, but this first book is well worth the (insignificant) time it would take to read. It's breezy, it's fun, the characters are mostly likable (you want to throttle the protagonist, but only because you care).
(Note: 5 stars = amazing, wonderful, 4 = very good book, 3 = decent read, 2 = disappointing, 1 = awful, just awful. I'm fairly good at picking for myself so end up with a lot of 4s). I feel a lot of readers automatically render any book they enjoy 5, but I grade on a curve!

Sophie Kinsella's Confessions of a Shopaholic was a delight to read! I loved reading about the crazy antics Rebecca Bloomwood got up to in order to fix (or more like avoid) her money problems. She was a flawed, but loveable character and quite relatable. As someone also approaching my mid-twenties I still don't know what I'm doing 🙃. Amazing book. Missed my stop on the train on two occasions caught up in it. Looking forward to reading the rest of the series.
This is just brain candy. I read it just for easy entertainment. Although, I had a really hard time reading about all her poor money management.
Pretty good for the most part. Hit a few boring spots. The ending was cliche and very much predictable

Such a fun, light read. I enjoyed it very much! Rebecca is adorable and hilarious.
I could never finish this book.
Maybe because I could never understand people who spend their money on things they don t need.
