Hey Joyce, I know you loved this series as a child and I am trying to love it too but it has been kinda rough. Ive never seen dragonball as a child. The second volume was way better than the first one. Im trying to enjoy it for you.

What's sort of amazing to me about Dragon Ball is that the wishes people intend to make are SO small scale. Wishes for a perfect boyfriend, to not be nervous around girls, stuff like that.

I guess there's no Holocaust in this world. That does kind of eliminate a whole sector of wishing.

This whole series is a classic. The puns are great. Despite being very familiar with the show, I'm still surprised and enjoy every panel.

The moment Toriyama started talking, he broke the story. I really don't like it, when authors or mangakas are putting themselves in their book/manga, so that wasn't great.
At least Goku seems interesting, and I really wonder what will happen next; my memories are really bad.
