A nice short shot of Eve Dallas, it has romance, suspense and a quick little mystery.

It was a really good story that I wish would have been a full length novel. The story kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time, but I felt the ending was ridiculously rushed.

If you wanted to read a quick Romantic Suspense/Mystery novella, I would recommend this book. You don’t have to read the earlier books to read it, but I always recommend reading in order. You’ll miss out on the character development that J.D. Robb does for each character in the series. She does a fantastic job in each of her books in the series with her characters and addicting storylines.

Overall, this novella received 4-stars and was a great short story for the In Death series.

Thank you, Edward McKay bookstore. I did enjoy the small hints of it being in the future with new tech (e.g. flying cars). That was surprising and wasn't thrown in my face as the story progressed. So well done there.

It was a nice little short story that didn't sacrifice plot or content. You need to know the info from book seven so it makes sense though

Short and easy. I liked it but for a short story I kind of wanted different content from the usual police mystery.

I liked this little novella. I almost wish Midnight in Death and Holiday in Death had switched places. I liked seeing the results of one of Eve's cases. I mean so far we've seen her catch the killer(s), but we've not seen anything happen after-the-fact. This book picks up immediately after Holiday In Death. We are still dealing with Christmas and we are taken into the new year. it kind of signifys things ending and everything kind of starting over. Like I said I would have liked to have seen this in full length. There were times that the transitioning was a little confusing. Eve would be at Cop Central and the next sentence she would be home. Sometimes I would have to read over some passages again. Other than that minor thing I really enjoyed it. For those who don't know, this novella can be found in the anthology [bc:Silent Night|129527|Silent Night (includes In Death, #7.5)|J.D.
