I accidentally skipped this one in the Lincoln Rhyme series and just now caught up with it. WOW very creepy story!! I liked this one better than the last few and it kept me guessing. Very good read and hard to put down.
Love Lincoln rhyme, can't get enough of a great detective series, up there with rebus and wallander for me!
Yet another page turner from Jeffrey Deaver with his usual twists and turns right to the end. This one is particularly scary as it could happen to anyone, you read about identity theft in the press and in this book it's taken to the extreme. It certainly left me feeling a little uneasy about what kind of information there might be about me floating round in the ether.
This is a good read - as most Deaver books are - but was pretty scary as you begin to think about all the personal information out there in databases and how it can be used.
Solid read, ok. Concept is a little frightening, and probably pretty realistic. Not his best ever, but a good mid-level. Rhyme's brother is arrested for a crime he did not commit. Rather, someone out there is manipulating indentities. 070708
I was hoping for something closer to an updated version of Blue Nowhere, with more technologic gamemanship. The Broken Window was not a bad way to kill time during airport delays, though.

Works fine as a stand-alone, although there are a lot of characters to keep track of.
Good complicated mystery/thriller. I liked the team dynamic. There were a some tech details that seemed a bit off but you can kind of handwave most of it for the sake of plot. It sounds like the author put some time into his research.
Might look up some of the other books in the series.
