This book on CD is a real thriller albeit more than a bit unsettling. If you ever had concerns about personal privacy in the computer/technology age, this book will do nothing to ease those concerns. It certainly makes you more aware of the amount of information that is gathered about each of us and what could happen if it fell into the wrong hands. Deaver is a good storyteller and this book on CD will not lose your interest.
Once again full of twists and turns that keep you glued while you travel through crime scenes, evidence, technology and the capture of the murderer. Deaver does an excellent job at keeping his books in your hand and this didn't let me down. I found it a quick read, i began reading it at bedtime and stayed up past sunrise to finish it. I have read it several times since and unlike some other books it remains in good shape. A definate must read for the Deaver lovers out there, and a must read again for those of us who can't get enough of Deaver's character Lincoln Rhyme.

The premise of this book was spot on in its relevance to our digital identities and data mining companies; I loved the whole idea. Deaver knows how to write an intense, action-based crime novel. When I down a 600 page novel in two days, you know it is good!!!
I read this and liked it, but it was so long ago I couldn't give it a fair review.

This is the first book, I've not been able to finish. I usually Have a rule, once I start I have to finish as the endings can somehow make a book, but forcing myself 3 quarters of the way through was enough. Just a bit boring and dragged out for my liking, and couldn't believe it's been overall rated 4 stars!
