This is the prequel to Willow’s upcoming book His in the Dark, and it’s so FASCINATING. This introduction into Carlisle and Ivy’s story, a retelling of Hades and Persephone, is so very captivating, intriguing and alluring.
This novella gives us a preview into Carlisle’s determination to get back his soulmate, the love of his life Ivy while not telling us exactly what he needed to do or agree to for him to have her back in his grasp. We do know that Ivy doesn’t remember him,or the life they previously shared and that hurts him so.
As for Ivy, she feels like she’s been taken, abducted from her life and home by a stranger.
Now that we have been tantalized by this small introduction into Carlisle and Ivy’s romance we can’t help to be excited to see what happens.

This was a great little novella. Carlisle struggling without Ivy was so heart wrenching and when he finally got her back and she finally remembered all of their lives together it was so beautiful. Just the right mix of spice and plot and I can’t wait to see what happens in His in the Dark!
