I liked it. It was good but not great. It was missing the adrenaline and rush a thriller needs to have for me to not put it down.
One of those books that won't really stay with me and that I will probably not read again.
I liked the writing style tho.

Okay I KNOW it’s because of my infertility but books where the woman loses her husband and then is MAGICALLY pregnant at the end so she’ll always have a piece of him ALWAYS give me the ick. Overall I did enjoy the book, even though the wrap up/solving of things at the end was kind of muddled. I really did enjoy when she was on the run and the reveal of whodunnit (kind of) was wow. Overall a good read but not my favourite of hers.

Not that impressed. Maybe it's because it's my area of work or because my taste has changed, but I usually like Ruth Ware but this felt too formulaic?
