Zero Days was another quick read for me by Ruth Ware. I was quickly drawn into this storyline and Jack’s job as a pen tester. This played out like a tv show or movie for me and I enjoyed the race against the clock format. I enjoyed Jack’s rebel spirit and the chase she was on. There were some predictable elements for me, but I was along for the ride and had a lot of fun reading the book. 4 stars rounded up
Word of caution: this is not like Ruth Ware’s other books! I recommend picking it up if the story intrigues you and not to compare it against her other works.

This is good, but not my favorite by the author.
I think that's because I liked the other books by the author so much.
This is a good thriller, and I liked how Jack copes with a very difficult situation. It felt very realistic.
Maybe that's what I didn't like? It seemed too real?
Like, all the others, there's an element of "This feels like characters in a book, and not a real situation" and here it was "And that's why you don't allow tailgating at the security desk." which is something I've dealt with in my job.
I really liked it, but I think I prefer a bit more "Whodunnit" than "Suspense Thriller" style from this author. Still-Not a complaint, a fun read, but I REALLY liked "the Woman in Cabin 10" .

I love Ruth Ware books but this one wasn’t for me. I found the main character annoying by how many times we had to hear about her wound and pain. The book was entirely too long for what little occurred.
