“You’re a surprise I never expected. Everythin’ I thought I knew changed when you moved in.”

thank you so much Ashley for the ARC!! i'm so happy to have been able to be a part of the teaser blasts and promotion for your book!

Finn is just a BEAUTIFUL story. the love story and relationship that evolve between Ash and Finn throughout the book is like a movie!! the flirting, the teasing, the way they're able to open up to each other the way they haven't with anyone, the TENSION YOU COULD CUT WITH A DAMN KNIFE. the SPICY SCENES. the subtle ways they show they care about each other. it's so clear how meant to be these two are.

and Tucker??? MVP of the book. he's such a sweet, caring soul, such a beautiful baby boy, so open and welcoming and loving. Ash and Finn's respective relationships with Tucker absolutely made this book. i'm having baby fucking fever because of how good of a kid Tucker is LOL

AND I REPEAT. THE SPICY SCENES. i didn't anticipate how spicy this book was going to be going into it and WOW. IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT. jesus. they had me closing my kindle at work because i work in a school and i was not about to get horny around my students HAHAHAHA

but really, each facet of this book came together to create a wonderful, emotionally rich love story and i'm so happy to have read it.

thanks again for the ARC, Ashley! i can't wait for the other Moore men stories!! ❤️

Thank you to Ashley James and The Author Agency for an ALC in exchange for an honest review!

Whew. I knew right away Ashley James was going to keep me laughing, but then to learn she was also going to pull at my heart strings, make me drool, and infuriate me? Well, I couldn't ask for much more from an author. Then she threw in little references to one of my favorite authors (Victoria Wilder & her Foxx brothers) and Sleep Token.

But seriously, Finn was beyond five stars as an audiobook. The duet narration brought Finn and Ash to life so well, sometimes so much so that I had to turn down the volume because I didn't need anyone overhearing. 👀 And while you DEFINITELY want to pick this one up for the spicy scenes, it also touches on the unconditional love we all hope to have from our family, growing up gay, and more.

While I am now obsessed with this book, I kind of wish I hadn't found it until all of the series was out because I need the other books like now!! I don't know if this will be the next book, or if it's going to be hinted at for a while, but I think we're going to be seeing a best friend's dad book in this series, and I just know it's going to be HOT if it's anything like Finn and Ash's book.

Finn and Ash are hot! This is an ex-girlfriend’s twin brother romance. Ash is a bit down on his luck and is let go from his job and his sister (Finn’s “girlfriend) recommends him to Finn to look after his son Tucker. Not having many option Finn agrees.
Finn is kind of a no nonsense character, he likes to be in control of things going on around him.
Ash is golden retriever energy. Easy going. I really liked Ash’s character.
I’m not usually one for daddy kink but this was not bad at all. There’s not a ton and a lot of times it’s used sarcastically.
Once these two got together they were amazing. Chemistry was off the charts!

ALC: The audiobook is amazing! The narration was so good. They really brought these characters to life! Ash’s voice was 😍.

Okay, so this book? Let me just say it’s a wild, emotional ride and one of the hottest MM romances I've read in a minute. It’s a slow-burn, slow-build kind of thing, but when it heats up? WHOA. Finn is this broody, almost grumpy cowboy on a family ranch, and Ash, his girlfriend’s twin brother, comes to be the nanny for his son. What starts as pure tension and confusion about their feelings for each other turns into something so much more—hot, sweet, and heart-stoppingly emotional.

The chemistry between Finn and Ash is unreal from the first moment. It’s like you can literally feel the attraction zipping between them. Their connection feels so real because, underneath all the spice, there's this genuine, tender side. Ash’s relationship with Finn’s son, Tucker, is so wholesome, and seeing that side of Ash really adds depth to his character. The way Finn and Ash navigate their feelings while dealing with guilt, family dynamics, and the intense attraction they try (and fail) to fight is just chef’s kiss. And that bedroom scene? Literally explosive. I’m not saying you’ll need a cold shower, but... yeah, you’ll need one.

Audiobook Review:
The narration by Gregory Salinas and Alex Kydd is perfection. Each of them totally nails their character—Gregory’s gravelly voice is all Finn, the brooding cowboy, while Alex brings so much life to Ash’s playful, bubbly nature. Together, they bring this story to life in a way that I don’t think just reading could do. The chemistry between them really pops, and the emotional beats? Yeah, you’re going to feel all of it.

These narrators just get it. Every word feels so natural, like they are Finn and Ash, and honestly, I could listen to them narrate this story on repeat. If you're on the fence about picking up the audiobook—don’t be. It was a total game-changer for me.

Ok I love Ashley James. And every time I read one of her books I think it’s my favorite. So guess what? THIS IS ABSOLUTELY MY NEW FAVORITE.

I don’t even know where to start. Like there’s the hot AF cattle rancher with the adorable kid (and I don’t even like single dad trope usually!) He’s dating a girl who has a twin. Enter Ash, the twin who never gets chosen. City boy who needs a change in his life, but never expected Finn.

These two have so much chemistry, you feel it in the first interaction. Like there was no way they were staying away from each other. At all. Finn thinks he’s straight, Ash shows him that he is absolutely not. Like he loves the D. Ash’s D specifically.

When you get to the good stuff, the fu*k it moment?  Dear god it’s so good. Ashley knows how to write a scene ok, but these were top freaking tier. Every time they were together you felt the connection, you knew there was no way this wasn’t an HEA.

I could go on so much more, but bottom line is you NEED to read this. Especially if you’ve loved her other cowboys in Copper Lake.
