What a gem!! I enjoyed this sweet story. The character development, story telling, and fun mystery made for a great tale. Laurie drove me a little nuts, but I love that she knows what she wants and it’s not wrapped around what society says she has to want. Book #26 in 2023
I really enjoyed this fresh take on modern romance maybe because Laurie talks about her life and relationship desires in the same way I do, but also for the ‘heist/con’ plot-line, the mystery of Aunt Dot (who I aspire to be, thank you!) and the friendships. A lovely read.
