I was in the mood for a fun survival adventure, and this one delivered. The romance was sweet, though I was not particularly invested in it or its dramatic twist. Mostly, I was there for the absolute nonsensical danger these teens were thrown in for almost no reason. Overall a solid read!

I just know that my 15 year old self would have absolutely eaten this up!! Unfortunately I have become a little too jaded in my old age to appreciate this book to its full potential, but it was very fun, very wholesome, and very cute!

I simply refuse to believe that they ate both a possum that they found already dead and a brown snake - but I suppose suspension of disbelief is part of the fun of it!

A solid but predictable YA novel about an average girl doing a favour for her best friend that lands her stuck in the Australian bush with the most popular teen actor in the whole world. None of the twists shocked me and some of the "oh no he's so hot" parts were a bit too much but I had a fun enough time. I hope Lynette Noni writes more contemporary YA in the future, they're good at it!
