hockey and romance yes please

Aiden is not your typical hockey player! Hockey is his life! Until he meets Saige… of course he messes it up… but things work out in the end

I devoured this in one sitting. I loved Saige and Aiden. This was such a fun read and I am excited to continue the series!

I had to force myself to finish this book. This book had no depth or any real plot. I need a book with a decent plot and some real emotion. I also need some good character development. I got none of that from this book. Saige was annoying (although not my reason for the 1 star) and not good enough for Aiden. I am a huge hockey romance reader and this book was a big disappointment. I will not be reading any more in this series.

This book was absolutely AMAZING!!! I LOVED IT! There is nothing better than a great hockey romance. I was so excited to read Aiden and Saige's story after reading [b:Countdown to a Kiss|57743472|Countdown to a Kiss (Hockey Hotties #0.5)|Piper Rayne|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1618459503l/57743472._SX50_.jpg|87336152]. They had some chemistry between them so I was excited to see how it would play out.

This is a slow-burn romance that really pulls you in. These two both have a pull towards each other but they both resist it for different reasons. They really grow a great friendship and have a really great time together. I was really pulling for them throughout the book. Aiden flirting with Saige throughout was great!

I also loved the friendship between Aiden, Maksim, and Ford. Same with Saige and Tedi. I really hope we get to see more of Aiden and Saige in Maksim's book!

I'm completely hooked on this series!

I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

Cute book with steam and storyline

This started out feeling like a love triangle, which is a big no-no for me. But quickly I connected with Aiden and Saige as they attempted to establish a friendship without crossing any lines, as Saige was sort of dating Aiden’s agent. A few bumps along the way provide some tension, but Saige’s best friend is the comedic relief we all need in our lives.

Piper Rayne‘s first hockey romance novel did not disappoint! I enjoyed it alot! It was a fast, fun read with alot of steam and some emotion.

Aiden and Saige are super cute together. I loved them both alot! The chemisty between them was sizzeling!

Aiden has had a horrible few games until he meets Saige on New Years. After that his games improve alot. What makes her so special?
Saige is a strong women. She has her own social media business and is dating Aiden‘s agent.

I enjoyed both their characters very much. The story was unique and fun. Piper Rayne can definitely write hockey as well as football and other sports!

I can‘t wait to read more of this team and friend group since we got to know them all a little bit more in My lucky #13.

Aiden is in a slump with a trade deadline looming. His teammates have all kinds of superstitions they reenact before each game, but Aiden was never that guy. At least he wasn’t before Saige doused him with wine before he pulled off one of the greatest game of his life. Now he’s begging the beautiful woman who shot him down on NYE to throw a drink in his face before each game. The only problem is she’s dating his agent and he’d like her to do a lot more than throw a drink in his face and fighting his attraction to his superstition is proving to be a losing battle.

Saige and Aiden have chemistry for days. This is a great start to the hockey series staring the Florida Fury team. I did a combo of audio and ebook for this one. I absolutely loved the audiobook—Jason Clarke and Savannah Peachwood make this story pop off the page.
