4 stars | Did this novella totally melt my heart and turn me on at the same time? It absolutely did.
This was the perfect fall novella to put me in the autumn spirit (I don’t care that September just started, let me live). Des and Axel we’re both so cute and their chemistry was perfect. I was never one to like the neighbors-to-lovers trope but this was adorable, like absolutely swoon worthy.
Whew, I could go on about how much I loved Axel and Des and how I would love a full length novel of them. But when I tell you that this novella gave me all the feels and you need to read it immediately when it drops, I mean it.

Holiday novellas have quickly become a favorite of mine! This was so cute and sweet and definitely smutty! Just how I like them!
Des and Axel meet on a blind date at a fall carnival and they discover they already know each other. Cuteness ensues and things quickly heat up!

Ok ok. Cute cute. Great tension and buildup. Cute epilogue. I just feel the emotions like I have in other novellas so it wasn’t as romance as I wished for

And for being this short, the story really delivered all the fall vibes and on the MC's chemistry!

I was looking for a quick read to help get me into the fall mood and I definitely found it here. This novella was the perfect blend of pumpkin AND spice.. not super plot heavy but tonnes of fun to read. Axel and Des are the perfect combination of grumpyxsunshine and I loved their relationship and how he only gaves smiles to her.
