I could hardly put this book down, every free waking moment I had was spent reading this book for the last 3 days. Now I want my own cowboy 🥹thatgirlgeorgia's review against another edition

My guilty pleasure is cowboy romances...
I really enjoyed Elsie's writing and found it super fun and witty. Her ability to give her characters so much personality and heart is really endearing. Rhett has a big personality and its impossible to ignore him when he's on page. I actually enjoyed him as a character and found him really endearing. And come on, Summer is such a sweetie it's impossible not to like her. I found her really fun to read about and I loved seeing her and Willa's friendship from Summer's pov (I read Willa's book first).
I fucking hated the third-act breakup/conflict though, just so annoying and frustrating to read. This is something that still annoy's me about Elsie's writing but I can look past it.

Rhett Eaton never expects to fall in love with his agent’s daughter when she’s assigned as his glorified babysitter…but it turns out he can’t stay away.
I’ve been seeing the Chestnut Springs series everywhere for months and had SO many people I trust telling me that I need to read them, and I am SO GLAD I finally did! I’m 100% in my cowboy era now and could not be happier. Summer and Rhett made for a great couple, and their chemistry was sizzling and sweet and perfect.
I did get a little frustrated by some of the third act conflict (what else is new?!) because it felt a bit manufactured to me…but I also loved the way the plot wrapped up and the epilogues were both super sweet. I am SO EXCITED to continue this series (as I write this I’m about to go devour HEARTLESS).
