I did get over the fact that it takes place in Alberta, however the book was too long and just okay. Bummer

Elsie Silver KNOWS how to write a swoony cowboy.
Officially entering back into my cowboy romance era with the viral Chestnut Spring series after I soft launched with the Blue Rebel Ranch series a few months ago.
What to expect:
π Cowboy romance
π 1st person, dual POV
π Small town romance
π Childhood crush
π Forced proximity
π Found family
π One bed / one horse
Chestnut Springs is SO hyped, so I went into this with very high expectations. Overall, this was a fun, fast-paced read, and I LOVEEEE Elsie Silver's writing. I love how she layers in side characters who will become main characters later in the series.
I ended up giving this a 4 instead of a 5 since it felt like we just scratched the surface on important plot points.
Immediately starting book 2!
