Loved this book! First time reading any Elsie Silver books and god am I glad I started reading it. My friend recommended and bought me the whole Chestnut Springs series and I can’t wait to read the other books. The ending was just perfect

This was a pretty good book and I enjoyed reading it. The relationship between the main characters was well developed and sweet, just nothing ground breaking.

Summer is such an amazing and strong heroine. I loved reading about her journey! Rhett is great too, but the only reason I didn't give this book 5 stars is because he was so stubborn and almost mean sometimes, I couldn't handle it. Don't think he did enough grovelling. But I did really enjoy the ending, and these two had great chemistry together. Elsie Silver's writing is brilliant. Can't wait to read more of her!
