This has been my least favorite book by Harrison. All the characters are unlikable and the friendship between Sloane & Naomi is questionable. The plot was slow and I just didn’t care what happened to the group.

So Thirsty by Rachel Harrison is a fresh yet timeless take on the vampire genre that’s both haunting and thought-provoking. Harrison brings the classic vampire to life in all its dark, seductive glory (starting off strong with a wild, gothic-tinged vampire orgy), while cleverly using the supernatural to explore powerful themes about women and aging.
The story has a slow-burn quality that builds atmosphere, making those chilling moments hit all the harder—even though I almost gave up early on, I’m so glad I stayed with it. Harrison’s talent for blending horror with meaningful commentary truly shines, offering plenty to sink your teeth into!

made it 25% and was already rolling my eyes so hard I was afraid it was going to become permanent. You mean to tell me your in the middle of the woods with your compulsive friend and she has volunteered you for a party at a strangers house AFTER the night before you swore you saw someone standing outside your window AND your spouse is at home cheating on (which you are fully aware of but are just avoiding handling) ....... nah I'm going to pass on this after the characters have followed every rule in the handbook of how to have bad things happen to you.
