I wasn’t a huge fan of the FMC but overall the story and narrative was good. I found myself laughing at Illie (spelling is sus bc I read the audiobook) way too much. I want a book about him.
I enjoyed Henry but I wanted Joel to suffer more tbh.

I don't know why I thought this was a romance novel. What a misunderstanding. I also didn't think it was very interesting or well written, so there's that. I did finish it, and it didn't make me angry, so hence the three stars. Probably won't read this author again.

I wasn't sure what to expect going in to this. The ending wasn't my favorite, only because I would have loved to know more about what happened between the last chapter and the epilogue. It can all be inferred based on earlier chapters, so that's just me being nitpicky. I LOVED the characters, and how they interacted with each other. I was pulled so deeply into this world it was a bit of a shock to be pulled back out
