It was okay

A very nice read !

I quite appreciated this one.
Well set up and written, with lots of emotions; it made me laugh and swoon many times :)

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.5

My first Book by this author and I really loved it.

I listened to the audiobook and it was really really good. CJ Bloom is one of my favorite narrators and her duo with Lance Greenfield was just perfectly amazing.

Both of them knows how to get you into the story immediately. I loved both of their interpretations for this story.

The story itself was great. I love it when there is a big family and nosy with a lot of funny moments and banters so I’m glad I read this book.

I have to read the rest of the series now to know what will happened to Moss’s brothers.

Moss and Brooke

Brooke and moss have known each other for a long time and are friends. They even work together at Moss’ parents company. Brooke is sick of her family telling her in many ways that she is a failure and should’ve followed the family’s business instead of doing her own thing. She is out with friends one night and they come up with a plan for Brooke to post a wanted ad for her grandmothers birthday party. Moss finds out and wants to be the one to help Brooke.

Cute, but the tropes and smut was just ok.

Flirt by Adriana Locke is the firs book of the Carmichael series. This story follows a friends to lovers romance that will pull at your heartstrings. Moss and Brooke come together while trying to manage working relationships, long time friendships, and family issues.

Lance Greenfield and CJ Bloom are a perfect pair narrating this couple. Lance gave Moss all the warm cinnamon roll ultra swoonies while CJ perfectly narrated a strong, woman who was looking for herself.

Overall I liked this book. After all the Carmichael shenanigans in this book I am looking forward to meeting all the other brothers!

Can I just say I adore this family already. I fell so hard for these characters. This story is sweet, heartwarming and made made me laugh out loud. I believe they are definitely competing for my new favorite book family. I can't wait to read more of their stories and more from this series. I love Adriana's writing and this was no exception. It is definitely a fave read this year so far. I am excited to see what else Adriana has in store for the readers.

Perfect

This book was hands down one of the best from this author. I loved the banter and text messages. The relationships between the brothers were hilarious. Their mother had their hands full. I can't wait to meet them all.

Moss and Brooke were examples of why I read romance. It shows how love takes work, and also risks. when it's right, like it was for these two, the pieces fit.

I'm confused about the mysterious texter and random penguin facts. I'm assuming that will be in the background of the other stories for these brothers. I know it's early but I have a feeling that these characters might become my favorites over the Landry's.

I’m so excited for this series. The Carmichael brothers seem like they are going to lots of trouble and just as much fun. With all the pranks just in this book, I know this series is going to be fun. This coworkers to lovers story is one of the best starts to the series. I loved the chemistry between Moss and Brooke.

4.5 stars

Brooke comes from a horrendous family, and with her grandmother’s upcoming birthday party she is loath to attend solo. So she creates a wanted ad, basically for a fake boyfriend. She doesn’t mean to actually post it but when she accidentally does, she’s both horrified and amazed by the response.

When the guy she chooses to meet turns out to be Moss, her coworker - her flirtatious, insanely hot coworker - she ends up wondering why she didn’t just ask him in the first place.

They have chemistry, they’re clearly very fond of each other, and neither of them wants a real relationship. What could possibly go wrong?

I had a bit of a book hangover before this and was struggling to get into anything, but this was the perfect book to pick me up out of it!

The evolution of Moss and Brooke’s feelings, and their relationship as a whole, felt so natural and organic that I didn’t even really think about how fast it all happened. Their banter and friendship set such a solid foundation that the rest just came naturally.

Speaking of banter, I
