Great!

Loved the ending and the writing. Going to miss the Butcher boys. Was excited for Xander to have his own HEA.

I loved this entire series. Xander is so damaged and Kaya is a hot mess...I love them both. This book kept me up all night reading and I was sad to go to sleep because it was over.

Xander is the youngest brother of the Butcher boys, and the one who took the most of their mothers wrath. He is haunted by the pain of his past. So to numb himself he started boxing, because that’s the only way he can feel something genuine.
Kaya’s life is falling apart, and she finds comfort in Xander’s arms.
The thing is, she made some questionable decisions, like selling her virginity online for a million dollars. That seemed a good idea at the time, but well… some actions have some very bad consequences.

It’s hard for me to write a review for this book because I loved this series, and I love Nicci’s books, but this one was a miss for me.
Don’t get me wrong, I truly enjoy this book, but their relationship seemed disconnected, it came out of nowhere, without foundation…
I loved Xander and his story, his background, his struggle. Did I mention he is pierced?
But Kaya was literally a kid with daddy issues, and I honestly didn’t like her.
But despite it all I enjoy this book.

The brother I loved the most out of the five. Book was awesome. The couple, even better. God, my heart skip a beat or two at the accident scene and I cried, like litteraly cried with tears for that man. Shit, I checked the epilogue novella and was hopeless seeing there's no Xander, just a letter. But somehow, hold the courage and read it. I am happy now (giggling).

Well, that one was a super rollercoaster! I dont think I have had that many emotions all at once for any of the other books. Xander was by far the most emotional, briken minded, and intense brother! I absolutely loved his journey. The brothers support throughout was a sweet moment and the banter helps break up chaos that is the bitcher brothers. If you haven't yet, then read the series. It is well worth the hype it is getting and so much more.

The opening reminds us of why we love Xander. The writing flows so well it's so easy to immerse yourself in the story and feel as if you're there right alongside Xander. His character and his personality really comes alive, and that's one of the reasons to love Nicci's writing.

Both Kaya and Xander have a lot to deal with. While Xander chooses to use his boyish charm and jovial personality, Kaya is the opposite. Her well to-do lifestyle is about to come crashing down. It's nothing like how she is used to living and despite how it happened, she's willing to do anything to try make things better.

Xander is a dark, loving soul. You can feel it in the words used to describe him. He wants something for himself, something that he can call his. xander and Kaya are navigating life the best way they know how.

There's something dark and beautiful in the way Nicci uses words to bring this story together.
Xander, like Max, shows a side to Kaya that no one else sees. He's vulnerable with her and wants her to be his person.

Xander had the brains, he was the youngest, the gifted one, the one that needed protecting. His brothers just wanted what was best for him, but they didn't really listen to what he wanted. They never heard him. Kaya did that for him.

I love that not only do we get love stories full of darkness and light, but we also get a story of a close group of brothers who would do anything for each other. Who might not know how to show their emotions the 'normal ' way, but they show each other in their own way, and I think that's just as beautiful as anything 'normal' can be.

This is the end of the line. The last of the Butcher Boys to find his true love. It doesn't come easy. There aren't enough words to express how much this story will live on in my mind along with the rest of the series.

Xander and Kaya are messy, their love is mess and chaos, but that is what makes them who they are. I think there was a lot of growth in both their characters throughout the book, Kaya facing what her life looks like now and having some pretty traumatic situations arise to make her realise how she has acted. Xander the same. They went through a lot in this story and not once did their support and love for one another waiver.

The amount of emotion pouring out of these pages is testament to the amount of emotion that you can tell went into writing this story. A story of how different love can be for everyone. It shows the love of brothers and how they love so differently but wanting the same thing for each other. By using what they knew, the best way they knew how.

This is a story of unconventional love, and how far they will go to protect the ones they love.

The series is over now and I feel like I'm saying goodbye to a treasured group of friends.

It's hard to put into words how well Nicci put Xander's story together. I don't think anything I say would do it justice. You just have to read it to know. The topics in this book are hard, but they're true. As someone who has been affected by depression, every word rings true. Your mind is not your own sometimes, despite being in the now, sometimes you're not really 'present', you're existing but you're not living.

Such a well-written book that needs to be read by everyone. Simply brilliant

I think I’m in love with Xander Butcher, is that possible to be in love with a completely fictional person that you’ve never meet and will never meet? Kaya is definitely my new role model to I wanna be her when I grow up

I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
I liked this book. I had not read the previous books in the series, but I was able to follow what was happening. I can't wait to go back and read the others in the series.
