This is worth every single star, tear, and laugh. I've read all of Donna's books except the Trident Trilogy, so I know of these characters, just now how they started. I absolutely love getting to know them from the beginning. Meeting the team from the beginning had me so giddy. I love how strong and fierce Millie is and that she drives Nash wild. The storyline moves so quickly, and I was so wrapped up in it that I couldn't turn the pages quickly enough. I'm immediately starting book two and can't wait for more Milli, Nash, and the SEAL team!

I really enjoyed this sweet book. The storyline was incredibly unique and wasn’t entirely what I expected. It journeys through Millie’s life and her relationship with her father and secrets that have been dug up since his passing. Though this secret is a big one, it is an indirect part of the storyline. Millie builds a relationship with a SEAL team and starts to fall for one of the operators on the team. There are so many similarities between Mason and Millie’s father, and he helps her work through issues that she’s been keeping to herself for ...well... eight years! I loved the multi-perspective writing of this book as well. Chapters alternate between Mack, Mason, and Millie. This is all in all a solid book, it was on the shorter side and parts of it were a bit cheesy but who doesn’t like a little bit of cheese?

Fantastic book and quick read. The author wrote very well and kept my attention completely. Excited to see what else she comes out with.

Great Story!

I love this book! The father/daughter relationship is so sweet. Learning how much they mean to each other when Mack is such a “tough guy” just warms your heart. Millie is a girl with persistence, strength, and Navy SEALs are her weakness. Whether it be her dad or the man she can’t seem to shake off. There’s lots of twists in this book. And everything comes together nicely at the end!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.5 I don’t read much romantic suspense, but this one kept my interest. Couldn’t put it down once I got a couple chapters in. I started with the Grand Slam series…which left me wanting to learn more about rest of the characters. Milli had a different upbringing, with how her life started and then having a Dad who was a SEAL. She lived with her grandma, but she wasn’t Milli or Mack’s favorite person by any means, but she was their only family. Mason was protective from the start and with him also being a SEAL was able to connect with Milli and get her talking about her Dad again (he died 8 years ago) and get her to start living again, but she pulled him in and she had his heart. Can’t wait to read more about Milli & Mason.

This book deserves so much more then 5 stars, it definitely deserves to be recognized.
I literally couldn’t stop turning the pages, I had to know all about Millie’s life, how everything was going to turn out.

This book was absolutely amazing! I just don’t have the right words right now to explain how awesome this book is.

If you haven’t heard of it, you definitely need to add it to your list of books to read.

This book was everything i could’ve asked for! it kept me interested and my mind focused!! i loved it and have the second book coming to my house today because i can’t wait!!!!! i actually loved how we could see different points of views! i also really liked seeing different points of views of Millie during her years of growing up! i’ve never read a book like that and it takes a great author to be able to do that!
