Every young woman should read this book.

This book was very easy to read. That is the only reason it did not get 1 star. It felt like she was complaining about every event that has happened in her life. There are definitely things she should not have had to deal with, but the whole book was just constant complaining and then her saying that she understands that she’s famous but she shouldn’t have to deal with those things. The whole book just made me angry.

Wish I could have read this when I was struggling at 16... Or 18... Or 21. Wasn't expecting to love this so much. Really inspiring and had me bawling

I feel weird giving a memoir a rating. I didn’t know much about Madison beer but I like her music. It was crazy to hear her side of what she’s been through. Really makes you question society and how we interact with child stars.

Although the Half of it by Madison Beer does follow some harder topics like drug use, suicidal thoughts, depression etc it was written so beautifully and gave the reader time to reflect on themselves throughout the book. Although this was a short read it was still so impactful
