This wasn’t one of my favorites for sure but the story was actually pretty good and I did like it but it seemed to drag on a bit at multiple times throughout the book and then some things happened way too quick that it just threw me for a loop.

i thought this book was pretty good. i was grateful that halfway through they introduced some new characters since the original characters were really getting on my nerves.

I loved everything about this story- it had everything for me: romance, family, a unique setting and plot. The only gripe I have regarding this book is that I wish the reunion between Vivi and Dallas had been given more attention. Throughout the whole book you are really invested in this relationship and true love and I felt their reunion, while true to who Dallas is, also was lacking in passion and attention from Kristin Hannah. I needed and wanted more. I also wanted to be given just a littleeee more time and attention to how the family farm/ranch was doing at the end of the story, and the sisters’ and Dallas’s relationship with their Dad at the end too. We knew the ranch was doing well, but I wanted to know more as this was a big deal in the beginning of the story. Overall loved the story and how the family dynamics were given special regard throughout the book, and really showed what it is like to have siblings and how familial relationships change over time in a true to form way.

The start of the book was good, but after 1/3 I was getting bored with it. There is so much drama. I didn't like the jealousy among the sisters. I usually like this other, but thought this book was a struggle to get through
