I want to keep reading more from this universe. I think the characters are well fleshed out, so easy to care for. Most of the locations feel real. I was completely absorbed in this book from page one until the end. Super fun read!!

This book did NOT need to be as long as it was, but I can honestly say my rating would probably be higher if it hadn’t been spoiled for me. Because it was, I had no reason to push through the slow moments, since I knew what was going to happen. Because of this, it took me 4 months to read this book. FOUR MONTHS. Anyways, spoiler warnings are not hard. Learn to use them

INCREDIBLE. Always a pleasure reading a bardugo book honestly. The action in this book and camaraderie is amazing and I NEEDED THE INEJ AND KAZ SCENE I WAS CRYING ON THE COUCH. yes I love it

Five stars.
This book was just a good as its predecessor and was definetley a satisfying end to the six of Crows duology. The ending was brilliant as it wasn't a fairy tale one and fitted the characters perfectly. I am or course still in love with the characters, for more on that see my review for six of Crows.
So in short if you enjoyed the first one you are REQUIRED to read this. I mean it's just perfect. For more cohesive thoughts on this series my SoC review.

I really liked the book and , just as with the first installment of the series, the author knows how to handle multiple POVs really well. However, I do think it becomes a little bit repetitive that Kaz always has 19383847 plans that he never tells anyone, no one ever sees him preparing them, and they always come in hand just in the right moment. At first it was cool, but after the third(? time it was too unrealistic (yes, even for a fantasy series). Also,
Matthias's death was soooo unnecessary, it came out of the blue, and the whole things took less than 10 pages, it didn't make sense, and his last conversation with Nina felt too rushed, it was just a back and forth of "please don't die" and "i will, my love". Like I said, it just didn't make sense, I feel like author tried to make it more dramatic, and this was the only thing they could come up with, so I'm just going to pretend it didn't happen
. Regarding the very end, I think the book needs an epilogue, a proper one where we see where everyone is after a year or so after the events in the book.

So, I really enjoyed the book, but there are a few things I would change. Still, I completely understand why it's such a loved duology.
