so immersive and emotional. cheesy in the good way, bittersweet in the best way. really impressed with how much love and care i had for these people, even if i didn't agree with them.

i don’t care about any of the characters and the writing feels very juvenile.

I love KH, and I still enjoyed this book but it’s not my favorite of hers. Even being fiction I found it to be a little too perfect and far fetched to believe.

The audiobook narrator for some reason chose Mia to sound like a 5-year old child which was off putting so when Mia died, honestly I was thinking, “Thank God.”

When Lexi returned from prison I didn’t feel any story development between her and Zach so when they decided at the end to live together I was like, “what?!”

If this is your first KH read, keep going! The Nightingale or The Women is your next stop.
