The best fantasy book I've read in years! The plot was so well done, and kept me on my toes the whole time.

It took me a minute to settle into the writing and I was worried the tropes would not Be For Me in the very beginning, but everything about this ended up being perfect. Like a warm cup of something on a chilly night. Fun take on a new kind of fairytale with phenomenal worldbuilding and magic casting and it just made me feel good to read. Idk. Had a great time.
