Another incredibly woven story. So original, and captivating.
The MC seemed more like she was 24 than 17, which is a personal mental edit I use when reading this to enjoy it more.

It was everything I wanted in a fantasy book. Beautiful images. A great adventure. A villain I hated, but knew why they had become the villain. A heroine that grew to be her own woman. A sweet little love story tucked under it.

Best part: the fully realized world (a medieval Poland where evil magic is taking over the land), and the narrator telling the story with careful, Russian-accented voice.
