I don’t even know what to say to the final book of the series. Was I entertained? Yes. Did a lot of it feel predictable? Also yes. Did it sometimes feel like the longest book at some points, but other times I wish it was longer. Yup. Am I sad to see this series over? Yes.

Overall, this was a good time for a paranormal why choose romance. I loved that the FMC was unique and her backstory wasn’t like every other why choose romance out there. The MMCs were also funny in that they each had their own story and even at the end didn’t fall into “we all love each other no matter what” trope. With all that said, depending on your why choose mood I would recommend this series.

4,75 stars. Favourite quote from this book: “get close to any of them again, and I will split your skull open, scoop out what little brain matter exists in there, and shove it in your mouth so you can taste how stupid you are for trying to fuck with me.”
A long book for sure, with different pacing than the others. I had a hard time finishing this book but I’m glad I did. I’m just sad to say goodbye to my favourite quintet.
