It is my opinion that schools should focus on this book instead of to To Kill a Mockingbird to better understand the untold truths of racism in America past and present.

I been "friends" with Cassie Logan, the protagonist of this book, since I read it when I was in the fourth grade. It is just as powerful today as it was in 1979.
