I need one more sequel to maybe think I've quenched my thirst of this beautiful couple.

This book gives us a more in depth sight of Rand's and Stefan's life at the ranch. It revolves around how Stefan struggles with himself and not depending on others and his need to just do exactly that and build his life and have roots with Rand.

It's a great and quite the quick read since you can't just put it down.

This one started out kinda iffy for me. Too much sex,for one thing. We have two memory sex scenes and one in the moment scene, all back to back at the very beginning.

Then there was a lot of going on between Stef and the deputies about Rand's farm being rezoned to be in another county, and all the work he was doing for his new home town. I expected all that to factor in the story somehow, but it didn't, not really, other than to let the family know how well his ranch was doing. So the whole first few chapters felt totally unnecessary, from the 3 sex scenes to the rambling about zoning and town loyalty that had nothing to do with anything. Maybe Calmes is planning another sequel?

But once the story finally got going, it was really good. I enjoyed reading about Rand's family, and the rodeo, and all the secrets coming out into the open. I like how secure Rand and Stef are becoming with each other. All in all, really good read, despite the questionable start.

Two years later and not much has changed and I'm soooo ok with that.

Stefan is finally enmeshed in the ranch life. In his efforts to help Rand out, he gets himself into quite the situation. Have no worries though, because he always comes out on top through his stubborn determination and irresistible charm.

Rand unsurprisingly continues to be just as possessive and dominating, committed to his Stefan like nobody's business. He's got everything planned out to ensure their future and I like a man with vision.

Throw in some crazy, soap opera drama involving family rivalries and secrets, and you've no doubt got yourself a classic, entertaining Calmes read.

Meags thanks for keeping me on track. Ready for the next? I see a shifter Calmes in our immediate future.

Better than the first book. I am hoping Everett gets his crap together, and we get a book about he and Gina.

The main character Stef is amazing and I love him. I also think he should have taken off running because his love interest Rand, isn't right in the head. But Stef and the other characters are honestly worth reading for, they are delightful. Unfortunately, the love interest Rand is the least developed and the most awkward. The sex scenes are entirely skippable, but I enjoyed all the other parts. I was a little disappointed they took a shortcut to the end of family secrets and land grab machinations.

Holy crap, this was the best book I've read in a long time! Rand and Stefan are my favorite characters that Ms. Calmes has written and this was a wonderful sequel to Timing.

Another great book finished. I read it too fast. Let me tell you Stef has got to be one of my favorite people. I love him. I loved him even better in this book, both him and Rand. There was a lot of people I enjoyed in here. I really really hope there's going to be another book in the series...

Update: 11/20/16... Rereading this one again, so I can read the third book in the series. Another beautiful cover.
****This was even better the second around. Just like I said before I love Stef and Rand. ****

Typical Mary Calmes. Hot love scenes, bratty bottom and alpha male top. Steph did some pretty stupid things - with the best intentions. It was enjoyable but nothing to write home about.

Southern secrets and drama . . . Sigh!!!! I love the sequel to Timing. Rand and Stef are settling into their relationship, two years down the road, but old family secrets and rivalries are rearing their heads. Poor clueless Carly. She really needed to let go!
