Before Jory and Sam there was Rand and Stephan *sigh*

This is one of my all time favorite enemies to lovers books. As a matter of fact, this is one of my favorite mm books period. I simply couldn’t put it down. Rand and Stephan are two characters I love revisiting whenever I hit a book slump.

Be prepared for “arguments” which are in reality expressions of pent-up sexual tension. The chemistry between these two is both explosive and addictive. I couldn’t get enough of Stephan’s antics. He loves to poke the hornet’s nest. Poor Rand, our tough, huge, relentless cowboy is unmatched against his smaller, smart mouthed and stubborn nemesis who has a gift of getting into every kind of trouble imaginable!

The stories are pure fluff and over the top. It’s predictable and yes eye rolling at times but Oh My! It’s also FUN, SEXY, and ENGAGING!
I highly recommend these books to anyone looking for a light read and of course, everyone who is a fan of Mary Calmes *RAISES BOTH HANDS*.
Happy reading!

Honestly, this is exactly what you would expect of Stef at the rodeo, and it's hilarious. But it also tackles family problems, and the growth of a relationship as Stef and Rand change and learn to compromise. It was a sweet look into these character's lives and a nice introduction to Glenn, as well.

Cute book, I liked the story better than the first. It’s still much too short, though.

2nd re-listen. 4.5 stars rounding up.

Again Sean Crisden was kinda speed reading, I had the audio's speed reduced to 0.95 so it sounded normal, but performance wise it was better than Timing and Rand's voice more settled. So 3.5 stars rounding up.

Story wise this was so much better, because even though it was 2 years later and much of the story was spend in flashbacks and Stefan being on the rodeo, away from Rand, there was on page relationship development, the 2 MCs talking with one another and figuring out their future.

Really enjoyed a lot since Stefan became a part of the ranch and more a part of Rand's life.

Holy crap, this was the best book I've read in a long time! Rand and Stefan are my favorite characters that Ms. Calmes has written and this was a wonderful sequel to Timing.
