Eddie Flynn finds himself in the middle of a complex murder trial when he is hired by Sophia Avellino, one of the suspects for the brutal murder of her father Frank Avellino. The other suspect is Sophia's sister Alexandra. Both sisters called 911 blaming each other, and throughout the joint trial the prosecutor/defense lawyers must uncover who the actual killer is. This book has multiple POVs, including the killer herself as "She", Eddie, and Kate Brooks who is representing Alexandra. These POVS make the reading experience more immersive, seeing how things play out for each side. "She" is the definition of psychopath, killing those who risk her reveal throughout the trial and her chapters are quite disturbing. This book is very suspenseful, fast paced, and hard to put down. I gasped out loud multiple times and found myself thinking about it when I wasn't reading.

I did figure out who the killer was early on just from thinking what would make for the most interesting story but the story itself was fantastic! I was hooked from page one. Highly recommend!

thrillers are so easy to read in one sitting, if i read more of them i would have already finished my reading goal long ago

Loved this!! The back and forth was so good. It kept me guessing the whole book

The ending had my heart racing won’t lie she scared me as at the end when I knew it was her I still was so stressed when she realised she had be caught because god knows how crazy she was

I loved this book. I didn’t realize it was number 5!
