I enjoyed the writing and the commentary on social media she provided. It felt like this was a story very close to others she's written and almost a contract obligation than a story she had in her.

The premise of the story was really interesting, and timely. I also liked that the pacing was pretty fast. Where it fell flat was that it was really quite predictable. I was entertained nonetheless, so I rounded up to 3 stars.

Thanks to NetGalley for the ARC of this book! What a story full of twists and turns! Really makes you look at the world of these “reality survivor” type shows with a different eye. I wanted a bit more from some of the characters and the storyline, hence the 4 stars instead of 5. Overall, I think the premise of the story is great, building up the suspense and making you side eye a lot of the characters.
