This was a Bookclub pick for me and I hadn’t finished reading when I went to the meeting. There I found that the story wasn’t really about the hide and seek game but more about influencers getting caught in a storm during their hide and seek game.

Had I not known this going into the book I would have DNF, but knowing that the focus wasn’t on the game itself made it a more enjoyable read.
