Not gunna lie... this is the first Nick Sparks book I didn’t really enjoy... I usually LOVE his books but this time, I found myself bored and never wanting to pick it up to finish it. I finally forced myself to finish it and I wasn’t at all surprised with the ending. The ending was also the only time the characters’ emotions seemed real which felt like, “Well why can’t it be like this throughout the entire book??”

I almost didn't finish this, but I am glad I did. The ending had me shook. It kind of slows down towards the end that smacks you right in the face.

it was more 3.5 stars. it took more than half of the book for me to get into it, just because nicholas sparks is new to me, but the story itself was sweet and sad at the same time. but again, the whole concept of me not being used to his writing made it weird for me to connect to the story.

Made me want to find bottles with messages

This is the first Nicholas Sparks book I had ever read, and it is definately my favorite. I have no problem rereading this book over and over again. There is also a movie, which is pretty good, but nothing ever compares to the book!

while this is a rather predictable story, it's still moving and gripping. Sparks has a way of pulling at the heartstrings and writing a love story that makes the reader want to live his stories, no matter what the ending. if he could write my future for me, I'd let him!

Title should be message in a book because there is so much that one can learn not only about love but life as well. Great book

I liked this because when I first saw the title, I thought nothing like this could ever happen. Whilst reading the book, I was able to overlook my first thought so I could delve into a sweet love story that actually doesn't involve twenty-year-olds who all look like Zac Efron.
