Terrible ending! This ruined nicholas sparks books for me. There was no reason to end it like this. I just hurled the book across the room.
Dumb selfish lady. Makes me think of NC and living there. Ending made me cry.
This is a very sentimental story and I'm glad I finally read it. I'm not a mushy book kind of reader so that's why I only gave it 3 stars. I had a hard time getting through the middle of the book but I had to know how it ended. I had a great time talking to my son about how it would end if he or I were writing it. We are a little off keel.
I swear i cried a river when i finished this one.. Garret's letters to Catherine and Theresa were just too wonderful.
Sad and boring. I felt there wasn’t a ton of plot just lots and lots of filler
This is the fastest I've read any book in a long time. It's a nice refreshing change to have such an easy to read book. Someone actually lent me this book but I'm glad because it was such a pleasant romantic novel. It's the first of Nicholas Spark's books I've read but I had already heard of him because of a few of his books being made into films already so I was intrigued to read something by him. I will definitely be reading more of his books in future.
The storyline of the book was easy to get enthralled by and it's a very simple book to read. It gives hope to people about loving or even loving again after loss. There's some deep feelings in the book that really make you reflect on what you see as important in your own life. Sometimes the small arguments aren't worth it when you could loose someone at any point.
