This was MY FAVORITE book of the series. Dabos continues to build the world and patches up many unanswered questions from the previous book. The mystery was so much more intriguing and the character development progressed! Ophelia’s transformation was.. WOW. Speechless. “Vertigo” was my favorite chapter..iykyk… ❤️❤️

hello, yes, I am officially in love with this world !!

Dabos’ imagination is magnificent, there’s no other way to describe it. I loved how the story unfolded in this book, and was genuinely surprised by some of the plot twists.

I picked these books up not really knowing what to expect and have come to like the universe and characters so much already. ophelia is a witty and clever bumpkin, it’s a joy to follow the story through her pov; and while thorn is (unnecessary) aloof and straight up rude lots of times, there’s also a soft side to him and ! they are cute 🙃

picking up volume three asap!
