Things are looking bleak for Darren and his friends-pursued by the police, vigilante mobs and the enemy vampaneze, they still have to find the King of the Vampaneze and destroy him to save the vampire race.

I like the Saga books but I felt it has been obvious for several books now who the King of the Vampaneze is so the big reveal at the end of this book did fall a bit flat for me.However on the plus side this episode has great action and a racing plotline that keeps you interested and is one of my favourites so far. They go from one crisis to the next and I really enjoyed it.

Mr Crepsley...NOOOOOOOOOOO!
