Holy moly this was a rather steamy read! A forbidden romance with an interesting storyline and incredibly hot smut. The lead characters are super interesting as well and the lead male is HOT. It is a quick read and the first in a series. I'm moving straight on to book two!

Yay! I enjoyed a hyped book!
I love that Abbi comes from a super religious background. That immediately made the story much more interesting.

Virgin trope were it actually makes sense that she’s a virgin finally.

Wow! This book gave me all kinds of emotions! Abbi, sweet, innocent, naive. Henry Wolf, sexy, brooding, and perfect for bringing Abbi out of her shell. I was annoyed at first with the constant reminders of Abbi's faith. Like I was going to forget that was an issue. But ultimately that seemed to be a non-issue after all. Ends on a cliffhanger and I am excited to see where the story goes from here.

I haven't heard many people talk about this series but I definitely understand the hype from those of whom I have heard rave about this book. Let me just say this, for a man named Henry, he sure knew how to put it down

this book was a pleasant surprise. i loved the premise of the plot so i gave this a shot on a pure whim and i’m glad i did. it felt like a short and sweet book - time simply didn’t exist when i read this, i basically finished it in one sitting - and yet i don’t think anything felt rushed.

i like Abbi. i thought perhaps that the innocent and naive thing would feel over-exaggerated and repetitive but it actually felt just right and believable. i also like Henry, but i’m hoping we get to build on his character more in the following books because something still isn’t quite there with him.

but i do feel like this was a solid start to this series and i can only hope that the rest can follow suit.
