The description of this book is pretty much the book. A serial killer, with a good heart, *eye-roll* kidnaps his Nancy Drew trespasser. (There is NOTHING wrong with an anti-hero! Why must he be a good serial killer?)
There were some hot scenes - not gonna lie. However, when you look at the book as a whole, it doesn't really make sense. How did they have such passion and chemistry? I guess it could have passed as Stockholm syndrome, but I didn't buy it.
It was an entertaining read, but not one I could recommend or revisit.

Yeah, it was fucked up. Yeah, the plot wasn’t really there. Yeah, it’s all something I’ve read before. But dammit, I’m a creature of habit.

I liked this book, hence the three star rating. It was definitely headed for a 4 or 5 star to begin with. I loved the concept of the story. Psycho killer (kind of) kidnaps girl, keeps her locked up.
